Privacy and EU servers: how we protect your data
Why OneHourSite hosts in the EU, what GDPR means for your site, and which privacy basics are included by default.
Privacy isn’t optional. European businesses expect websites and customer data to stay in the EU, with cookies, privacy copy and hosting handled by default — not as extra homework.
Hosting in the European Union
OneHourSite runs on EU servers. Site files, account data and contact-form messages are stored there. We don’t ship customer data to non-EU regions for core platform operation.
Under GDPR, processing in the EEA is easier to justify than transfers to third countries. You remain the controller for how you use customer data; we act as processor for platform hosting.
Included by default
• Cookie banner (essential cookies; no tracking without consent)
• Privacy-text foundation on your site
• HTTPS/SSL on OneHourSite hosting
• EU data storage for platform and site data
Contact forms
Form messages reach you. You decide retention, sharing and legal basis. The platform provides the technical base; your processes complete compliance.
EU servers + privacy defaults + you keep control of customer contact. See our privacy policy for details, or email privacy@onehoursite.eu.
